Eco-Care is currently involved in a SADC regional project, focusing on capacity building of NGOs involved in the water sector. To contribute to the SADC regional vision and development objective, the goal of this programme is:
To build the capacity of water, sanitation and health (WSH) civil society organisations (CSOs) in the SADC Region, to provide sustainable services through participatory networking and advocacy, through sharing experiences and recording lessons learned in Integrated Water Recourse Management (IWRM) Principles.

For the last 4 years Eco-Care Trust successfully presented the Bloemhofdam Bonanza-- the second biggest inland angling tournament in South Africa. Come and join us again this year—as always there are huge prizes. Thanks to SPAR- our main sponsor

Our Mobile Water Classroom, the first of its` kind in South Africa , operational since 2001, using experiential learning as a base, proved to be extremely successful. The classroom has been widely acclaimed as one of South Africa ’s most innovative development initiatives regarding awareness and education programmes.

The Mobile Water Classroom is a multifaceted and dynamic presentation tool. Content can be presented through workshops, discussion groups, or one can "learn by doing."

The Mobile Water Classroom is dynamic- any subject or theme can be facilitated in a number of different ways. There are no limits or boundaries, whether you have to present at a school, in the community or under a tree -- it is possible

Eco-Care Trust is proud to be involved in the Mogalakwena HP i-community. In September 2002, South African President Thabo Mbeki and HP CEO Carly Fiorina launched a special legacy project of the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development: the Mogalakwena HP i-community

The project’s aim is to find new ways that information and communication technology (ICT) can enable sustainable social, economic, community and environmental development.

At the Center for Sustainable Future, Eco-Care will permanently showcase their Mobile Water Classroom as well as sustainable sanitation options and innovative community participation
