We have lined up beautiful prizes in excess of R700 000 to be won! This makes the Bloemhofdam Bonanza the inland fishing tournament with the highest prize value in South Africa! The overall winner becomes the owner of sectional title property at Verlatenkraal next to Bloemhof Dam to the value of R400 000! This prize will be won by the angler with the most points for a carp and catfish counted together according to the revised Eko-Care Fishing tables.
The second prize is a brand new Army 5x5 Canvas Tent plus accesories sponsored by Klerksdorp Canvas & Mining Supplies. There are 10 prizes for boat and shore anglers respectively, calculated according to the revised Eko-Care Fishing Tables. The first Top Ten angler, boat and shore respectively, wins R10 000 cash each!

This Fishing Bonanza is a very important opportunity to the organizers to create an awareness amongst the participants to conserve our aquatic ecosystems. The Leisure Club “Keep the Dam Clean” competition and Super Cast “Water is Life” competition are as usual part of the Bonanza. Although none of the target fish species are endangered, if you can’t use your fish, release it unharmed back into the water. All proceeds of this tournament will go towards conservation of our angling waters.
